As such, programme covers a wide range of topics in order to build a strong foundation to working in care. Students will complete a selection of both mandatory and optional units, with each unit holding a different credit value.
Students must gain a minimum total of 46 credits in order to pass the course and the optional units chosen will help determine your care pathway. These optional units allow delegates to tailor the QCF to suit their specific requirements, whether they would prefer a specialist pathway or a more general route.
Assessment Our QCFs are completed via e-portfolio, but all students will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will be on hand to provide support throughout the QCF via phone and email.
The assessor team is there to help students work to the work to the best of their ability and complete the QCF in good time.
This evidence comprises of a range of documents, varying from peer statements, presentations of evidence, and a series of question and answer sessions. In the case of the level 2 however and where the delegate has no current employment in care, we are able to assess the QCF via other means if necessary, although we always strongly advocate employment before starting the QCF.
Requirements This course is designed for those with little care experience. However, working or volunteering in a care role is still a necessary requirement for delegates looking to enrol.
Duration Delegates can complete their QCF in a time to suit them, and we do not have a set frame that students must adhere too. That being said, a good target time for completion time is around 9 months, although many of our students complete much sooner.
If a student needs to put their QCF on hold, we do require a letter of commitment to the QCF so that they may return to the programme at a later date. Cost For a full quotation, please callor submit your enquiry using our web forms.
